Hathor is the great Sky-Goddess that gave birth to the universe. Hathor was the Goddess of Joy and Motherhood. She was also considered the the Goddess of music, song, dance, but she was considered the protectress of pregant woman. Hathor was the Supreme Goddess of sexual love in Egypt, immediately identified with Aphrodite by the Greeks.
